Flow rate, test conditions

5.0 litres a minute is the mean across 1.5, 2.5, 3.5, 4.5 and 5.0 bar, measured under clause 5.1 and appendix B of the standard. The laboratory is SAC-SINGLAS accredited and the result sits in the top efficiency band of 5 litres a minute or less.

The report covers SUH-RAD-CHR, SUH-RAD-BLK and SUH-NOR-CHR. Aura's flow figure is the manufacturer's own and is not covered by it.

Pressure-data scope

The pressure comparison comes from manufacturer testing. The independent SLS report measures flow rate, not pressure.

The Korean chlorine and media-hygiene certificates apply to filter media and do not measure Aera Flow spray performance.

Published chlorine result

Residual chlorine was not detected at each test interval from 1,000 to 6,000 litres under the published conditions.

Ceramic media hygiene test

The test recorded a 99.9% reduction in E. coli and S. aureus on the ceramic media after 24 hours of static contact.

The result applies to the media itself, not outgoing shower water.

Frequently asked questions about Aera Flow

Does the Suhae Universal have Aera Flow in it?

No. The Universal is an attachment that sits between your plumbing and the shower head you already own, so it filters the water and leaves the spray exactly as it is. It has no spray plate of its own, which is why no pressure figure and no flow figure on this page apply to it.

Aera Flow is the plate inside Suhae's own heads. The Radiance is the one we point most people at.

Does the plate filter anything by itself?

No. Aera Flow shapes the spray. Purea Core and Vitae Infusion provide the filtration stages inside compatible SUHAE shower products.

Will openings that small clog?

Mineral scale can build up on any showerhead. Compatible SUHAE heads open by hand so you can rinse the spray plate as part of routine care. Hard-water areas may require more frequent cleaning.

Which Suhae products carry the plate?

Radiance, Nourish and Aura. The flow rate figure above was measured on the Radiance and Nourish handshowers only. Aura's figure is the manufacturer's own.
